What is this blog?

Prologue

Well, if you’re reading this, somehow you’ve made your way here. And honestly, how you got here doesn’t matter that much. What matters is that you’re very welcome.

My name is Leonardo Gama, I’m a software developer, and this is my little corner of the internet. A place I can call “mine,” even though, in practice, nothing on the internet truly belongs to us.

This blog was created as a way to document ideas, lessons learned, experiments, and anything else I believe is worth revisiting in the future.

The Goal

The idea is simple: to document my growth as a developer.

But not only that.

This is where I’ll keep my notes, studies, discoveries, mistakes, successes, and experiences with the technologies I encounter along the way.

Whenever I run into a problem, I’ll try to document the solution.

Whenever I experiment with a new technology, I’ll share my thoughts and findings.

Whenever I create a study summary or a piece of material worth revisiting in the future, it will probably end up published here.

Think of this space as a mix of:

  • Technical journal
  • Personal knowledge base
  • Experimentation lab
  • Record of my professional growth

Feel free to explore the content. Maybe one of my notes will end up helping you as well.

And yes, a comments section will probably appear here at some point.

What Do I Hope to Achieve?

Ideally, this blog will serve mainly as a resource for myself.

A few years from now, I’d like to revisit old posts and see how I used to think, how I approached problems, and what questions I was asking at the time.

I also see this project as a way to turn ideas into reality.

I have many projects, experiments, and studies that usually stay trapped in my head or buried somewhere on my computer. Publishing them encourages me to organize my knowledge and share what I’ve learned.

I intend to dedicate myself to keeping this space updated.

And if, besides documenting my own journey, something I write here ends up saving someone else a few hours of their time, then it will already have been worth it.

Thank You

Thank you for stopping by.

See you in the next posts.
